The Affiliated States Championship is an annual competition run by the Australian Rugby League involving the four affiliated states (Victoria, South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia) plus the Australian Police and Australian Defence Force.

The combined Affilitated States side recently toured the Pacific
Islands competeing in two matches against Tonga and Fiji. The team
conducted itself with the upmost professionalism and produced some
credible results:
1st International – Fiji 26
defeated Affiliated States 22
2nd International – Tonga 32
defeated Affiliated States 12
